Fascinating, because I’ve watched this movie with multiple people and never had any of them dislike it. I can’t say it’s a good movie but it’s certainly a experience

Maybe it’s the movie equivalent of “acquired taste”. I loved it, even if the sound design gave me a headache, but I can’t imagine anyone who doesn’t already actively seek out strange movies enjoying it LOL

Honestly I find myself liking his short stories more than I like the big series he’s famous for (Tomie, Uzumaki, Gyo, etc.) Amigara Fault is one of his short stories that’ll only take you a few minutes to get through if you ever think about checking out his manga.

Just got PA on DVD a few weeks ago! I watched a bit of it when I was younger but never watched the full thing, need to get on that soon.

Surprised no one has mentioned the French horror movie “Martyrs”, it’s famous for being one of those movies you never want to watch again. I used to watch more extreme horror until I watched Martyrs, it shook me up for a solid week and I haven’t been able to watch horror as casually I used to ever since. It’s not very gory or in line with typical shock content, just very sad and upsetting.

I’m going to lose my mind

I just can’t understand this movement… I can’t wrap my head around why cooking your milk before drinking it makes it bad!!! I thought the anti-vaccination people were going to be as bad as it gets regarding science denial but it just keeps getting worse 😭😭
Did you ever find out what the first person was looking for? Is crunchy vanilla an actual thing or did they just want ice cream with larger ice crystals?
Extreme horror: food service-retail hybrid jobs, like the grocery store delis, meat counters, bakeries, etc.
I will let ciabatta’s infancy slide because it’s a top tier bread

i ended up in a strangeaeons video once. i stopped watching her content when i started high school and didn’t find this out until about a year or two after it occurred.
a bit later in my high school years, i became a top 100 global champion for a handful of week-long events in the mobile rhythm game “bang dream”, of which there were usually about 10,000-30,000 players per event. not very high level, but, having an essential tremor and issues with motor coordination due to autism, it was a way for me to train my hands
i’m sorry to every pair of drawn-on rectangular instagram eyebrows i’ve ever made fun of. i truly was not prepared for the brezhnev brows
I was not prepared for how incredibly boring Birdemic would be. The second half is hilarious but the first half drags impossibly long. For a movie about birds killing people, the birds don’t even show up until I think 47 minutes of this maybe 80 minute movie? I mean there’s the occasional laugh in the first half. That poster that was just a piece of printed paper taped to a wall with Yoko Ono’s website URL right next to that couple making out. I quote “she’s my hot Ferrari” on occasion. But it just wasn’t enough to justify half the movie being a romcom starring the most uncomfortable writing I’ve ever witnessed in film 😭 The director said he wanted this to be a “romantic thriller” but I’m not sure if he understood that you can tie two genres together at once…
