Yes, but when they get hurt, it’s their fault cuz they’re poor. But us middle-class people are good innocent people because we can afford enough amenities that escapism isn’t required for survival.

Huh, I’d really love to pick your brain on what you mean by that. My mental illnesses led to distorted realities which led to suicide attempts, so I’d argue that escapism was antithetical to my survival.
