The Smithsonian said Saturday that it would update an exhibit at the National Museum of American History to reflect all impeachment proceedings in U.S. history after a placard was removed last month.

“As the keeper of memory for the nation, it is our privilege and responsibility to tell accurate and complete histories,” the Smithsonian said in a statement.

Me too but maybe it is worth more to the director to protect the integrity of the Smithsonian Institute.

    A bigger picture type thing.

The director IMO is setting a better example than most us people and politicians.

Sure, but they just get replaced by a sycophant then it won’t make much of a difference

Yes but the current director can leave with a clear conscious which I am sure is important to them.

Replacement sycophant will be revealed and no one will trust the Smithsonian ever again after the replacement.
