So that’s like a taste aversion solution for cats? My bfs cat keeps chewing on the plastic of a piddle pad we have to have out and it’s a fucking arms race trying to keep her from chewing on it or ripping it away from where they are supposed to be. The pet stores have some sprays but it also keeps cats away from the area and I can’t really do that because one of the piddle pads is near their litter box.
My bfs cat is an adult cat, and the piddle pads are for my older cat who sometimes pees to the left of the litter box (I’ve talked to the vet about it and they don’t know why she does it, the assumption is just old age) so I can’t really move the pads. Both cats love chewing on plastic for whatever reason, but my bfs cat especially likes nibbling on the edges of the piddle pads.
I’ve never heard of chew toys for cats. If it’s something that will get them to stop chewing plastic I’ll def have to look into it.
