This problem is a problem because it’s a social tendency, not because we don’t have alternatives… Very sadly…
This is definitely the biggest barrier. I’m not sure what the proper solution is. Probably needs government backing.
Ive convinced a decent chunk of my friends to message me on Signal by simply being unresponsive on WhatsApp lol. It’s much harder to get people to use Matrix instead of Discord though…
And when they pull out of Europe because they won’t comply?
