Who is hoping it won’t last long? I’m hoping for the opposite. The government is killing people. what do we need it for?
I don’t think the parts that kill people get shut down, just the parts that give aid to the poor and ill.

What would those be? Because last I checked, those already got either turned down or retooled to benefit the rich more than anyone else. Like, oh no, the CDC is going to stop telling people to not get vaccinated?

None of the parts of the government that exist to help our citizens were working anyway, and this way at least the fascists have the purse strings cut along with everyone else.
