I’d be perfectly happy if killing CBS causes libs to start watching Democracy Now.
This is literally carnap.io for formal logic teachers. Just a dude in Nebraska holding all of us up. He’s not even an academic anymore!
While various previous Democratic voters said they had abstained this time due to the Harris campaign’s stance on Israel or for other policy reasons, a number of people in this camp said they would have voted for the vice-president had they lived in a swing state.
In a group of absolute morons, this is the only rational stance. It makes sense not to vote if your vote doesn’t matter and by doing so you’re only symbolically supporting a genocide. This is of course very different from voting for Trump because of Gaza (completely irrational) or abstaining in a swing state because of Gaza.
You’re ignoring the fact that this person clearly would have voted for Harris if they were in a swing state. Harris did not lose Illinois and this person got to avoid getting blood on their hands via voting for perpetuation of genocide. That sounds far more ethical and rational than just knee jerk voting no matter what.
Not forgotten, too many of you guys are sellouts. They’ll die in the climate wars so they’re covered.
Hitler loved his dog.
Cops are bootlickers. They will fall all over themselves to unload a magazine on this guy if it gets them accolades from those in power. Even if their mother or father was denied life saving cancer meds by the very guy who this hero shot.
Anger is often an indication of one’s moral compass. If you’re not angry at the tens of thousands who die because of a lack of health insurance, or because of illegitimate denials of their health care, something is very wrong with you. This man was a monster cut from the same cloth as any murderer or terrorist.
The problem with capitalism is there are thousands of bin ladens running around and we’re not aware of the misery they inflict, because it’s normal. This guy is a hero for reminding us of that.
I think she can make it another four years. Ginsberg actively had cancer when she refused to resign. I think there’s a difference here, and she’s easily the best member of the court on pretty much every issue.
I’m kind of confused about exactly how this could escalate further, given that there are at least two countries between Iran and Israel. Israel isn’t going to send ground forces into Iran, and vice versa. And I’m doubtful that as bad as Israel is, they would nuke Iran. Where could it go beyond intermittently bombing each other?
You know, the more I learn about this Trump character, the less I like him.
We shouldn’t have let them leave, we should have kept reconstruction going until 2050.
Apparently you’re going to be able to buy back months when all of this is over. That made me okay with this forbearance…as long as they don’t screw that up, too!
I think Dan and Jordan should get all the emails addresses from Infowars’ mailing list and send out stackies full of carefully laid out dissections of Alex Jones’s show. Might actually get through to a few people.
This is great, except in my case, where I have regional insurance that no one takes where I live. Everyone is out of network.
I don’t think I could blame someone for wanting to adopt a baby and not an older foster care kid who has had a lot of problems. People who do that are saints.
Its “allowed” in the sense that you can return a verdict of innocent without providing an explanation for why you found him innocent, and the court is not allowed to issue a verdict notwithstanding the jury in criminal cases. It’s perfectly legal for the court to dismiss you as a juror if you announce your intention to nullify at any point in the trial or explain that your intention is to nullify when you announce your verdict. So if you intend to nullify, you should stay quiet about it until you finish deliberating.
