Oh I know. That and the next speech when he said the first one “got great reviews.” I genuinely hate this timeline.

All I could think about while watching Carney’s speech, aside from how much I’d forgotten what a real leader sounded like, was what kind of bullshit word salad the orange asshole would belch out of his McDonalds hole.

While I hate the automatic inclusion of betting into most sports reporting today, it doesn’t trouble me anywhere near as much as the political scenarios the article lays out. Some pretty scary stuff in there!

Note that I said “enough” voters. Of course it’s not the only reason, but considering an incredibly boring and too-old candidate in Joe Biden beat him while two qualified women lost to him (especially the second time where we knew what we were signing up for), I think it has to be taken into account.

This is how much enough Americans don’t trust women in leadership roles. They’ll make all sorts of excuses to explain it away, but at the heart, they just don’t like women.

Not just crumbling. They’re being actively attacked and simultaneously dismantled by the country’s own leadership, and at the behest of the country’s wealthiest. If they succeed, this will be a lesson in history akin to the fall of the Roman Empire.
Adding “To Catch A Thief” & “Sabrina” to this list. Probably not as profound as some others mentioned here, but I consider them classics.

Bonus, you get a new checkmark color! Brown maybe?

If you’re referring to what I think you’re referring to, oof.

Sort of in this topic, I stumbled on this today and thought it looked interesting. Haven’t had a chance to look at it at all.

Don’t be evil, Larry.
It really does depend on the kid and the job. For example, if my kid is old enough to mow my lawn and earn a weekly allowance, he/she is probably old enough to mow our neighbors’ lawns for money. That said, he/she would probably be too young to work in a hold that required transportation to/from the job site (in the US, at least, with our mostly shitty/non-existent public transportation).

Or when he tells them public education is a waste of time, and they should just “do what they’re good at” as if they inherently know what that is.

Ah, the “Why do you keep hitting yourself” doctrine.

The traditional conservative way: he’s a victim. If the evil Dems and their voters hadn’t vilified him, Tesla would be the biggest and bestest.

Pretty much. After they gutted the first half of the amendment, it was only the right to “keep & bear,” and open carry is simply “bearing arms.”

Best pro tip ever. And not just eBay, either.

Well, it’s all subjective, of course. For me, if there’s the smallest amount in a dish, it will overpower everything else in the dish. A very little bit goes a very long way for my taste buds. So if someone were cooking with the “holy trinity,” they can probably cut the bell peppers by a ⅔ to 3/5 if they’re using the green ones.

Yeah, that taste overpowers anything else in a dish for me. In some dishes, I can takes it, but I’m really sensitive to it.
Was the bathtub occupied?
