Timesplitters. Can’t believe that series got left to rot
Just go for a walk. Calling it exercise scares people into thinking about running, cycling or the gym but for the last month or two i just make it my mission to go for a long-ish walk once a day. Nothing strenuous, some days I walk a couple of kilometres to the nearest big supermarket to pick up some stuff, or i’ll get something delivered to a post locker thing or I’ll just go for a nice walk around the nearby park and bring my neglected camera with me to take pics of some birdies.
You would be surprised how many calories it adds up to and how much better your well-being can get from some sunlight and fresh air.
This was a rather long time ago, my gin and oude en jonge jenever collection has rather grown since then lol
I think so but I’m not American, I’m British
From a 2003 entry in urban dictionary:
Female pubic region, having gone into a state of repair/part of male mating call
Get your growler out
Oh of course yeah, if it doubt then it is a safe bet to assume that. From a 2003 entry in urban dictionary:
Female pubic region, having gone into a state of repair/part of male mating call
Get your growler out
I was in North Carolina for work recently and one lady was talking about her local brewery where she could “grab her growler” and head over there. Took me a while to recover from laughing at that one.
My Dutch friend. We were on discord playing guild wars and the topic of alcohol came up. The majority of the group are british and we were talking about different drinks like whisky, gin etc and the question came up “so what famous dutch spirits are there?”.
There was a bit of silence before he said, “I don’t know, William of Orange?”. Turns out he had never heard of the word ‘spirit’ to refer to high proof alcohol before so selected a famous historical dutch figure.
Jet Ion GP for the PS2. I thought it looked fun when I saw it in the shop…
I met a Theresa Green once, she went by Terry.
Funniest two I remember were Crystal Poon and Anis Turki.
Pinetab 2? https://pine64.com/product-category/pinetab/
Mark Robinson lost in NC?
The Volt is a PHEV, I think the Bolt is the pure EV. I was considering its Vauxhall badged version years ago as a choice for a company car.
I have an older, second hand Thinkpad Yoga but it has served me really well with Fedora installed on it.
I also have a PineTab 2 but that has been a little bit of a rough start and still doesn’t feel that great as a day to day device just yet
Honesyly I think I prefer the laptop form factor over tablet + smart cover. Even my old Android Asus Transformer I used almost exclusively in laptop mode to do anything productive.
Can confirm that the mach 70+ winds are so strong that it strips the flesh from the bone.
A Nikon D3200 I’ve had for year I like using for nice landscape pictures and portraits but I used to use it as just my ‘everything’ camera - a role now taken by my phone.
Sony Cybershot DSC-W12. This was my first digital camera and used to go absolutely everywhere with me. These days it still gets used but purely as an underwater camera for scuba diving as I have an underwater case for it.
I picked up one of those Mavicas in a car boot sale years ago, its remarkable how far things have come.
My father died
Was putting together a flat pack wardrobe with my sister and mother. Mother just had to stand and support it whilst my sister did up some screws (at this point it was just a rectangle with no internal support so gravity wants to turn it into a rhombus). She starts getting bored and checks her phone leading to it tilting and the top section falls out and brains my sister on the head. After some choice words we put it back together and then she manages to do the exact same thing the second time, right on top of the bump made by the first incident. It was like a laurel and hardy sketch. My sister was very much not amused.
