9 months agoYeah, it almost looks like you’d be able to run things faster than natively on windows, which is why I’m suspicious (not that it’s a lie just that the numbers lack context). It doesn’t say what the numbers represent I think?

I haven’t heard anything about David Attenborough talking about plant based stuff so I won’t dispute it but he did help found and fund the zoology museum in my town, one that specifically tries to educate people on the dangers of climate change and making species endangered. From what I’ve seen of his filming they’re pretty conscious about not leaving any waste behind too.
11·11 months agoकाश यह सच होता 😭 Nah I’m from the UK and the test is really strange and involves a lot of stuff important to my parents and laws in parts of the country I’ve never been to so pretty much studying is mandatory.
I failed the citizenship test for my country by a wide margin 😥. Guess imma be deported for not knowing about cricket 40 years ago

No it adds variety to the look of writing, each character is a syllable not a single sound (mostly) so they use fewer characters for per syllable, having two syllabary systems means that there’s more visual distinctness per word. I’m not a Japanese speaker so don’t take my word for it, but no they’re very much not stupid it’s a clever system and one that’s related to the history and culture of Japan.
2·1 year agoI’d recommend doing it with a game you’re somewhat familiar with then, like Minecraft where the names are always there but not 100% required for playing
Yeah like everyone wonders a little bit whether there is an intrinsic grammar to human biology but saying there are feature/s that every language shares is a strange and reductionist claim.
I’m sure that takes a lot of patience and understanding, that’s super cool of you.

Besides the thing about talking about how children should be raised I completely disagree. I’ve never see anyone have nostalgia for anything besides music and fashion maybe since a massive amount of us are gay or trans so there’s no reason to want to go back to the past. And every gen x or millennial I know will gladly argue with cashiers for longer than any gen z since they’re still working as cashiers and were the generation that invented the concept of Karens and watch all the “customer gets owned” " I am the manager moments"
Yeah I got called a narcissist with my worst ex and then just flat out asked if they knew what it meant, I think it was a little telling they didn’t actually know (not that I do either lol). It’s really hard being with someone who makes you feel loved but doesn’t love you and I’m so proud of you for being on the other side of it and being happy!
