Solar panels and computer chips need large complex centralized factories, but that is basically 0%of the Land so there’s no problem with having both, as long as you don’t pretend that your solar powered homestead isn’t dependent on inputs like that.

11·10 days agoThere isn’t one, the only stealth fighters are in the US or Russia/China. If you don’t have stealth fighters at all you will lose very badly in an air war against someone that does. That’s just how it is, you have an overwhelming advantage if you can shoot your enemy but they can’t even see you at range.

6·10 days agoEfficiency drops significantly as you go faster than 50mph, so they would be more practical for city cars that don’t do a lot of time on the highway.

Solar panels last a long time and in 30 years or so we will have enough to power the world for a century.
