Israel practically organized Hamas to have an opponent easily disliked by western nations. They funded and molded it to the exclusion of more secular and leftist organisations like PLO. Hamas is not a problem for Israel, it’s a tool to allow them unlimited brutality on the Palestinian population. I know people on lemmy don’t want to hear this but when you look at what happened since the days when people like Rabin and Arafat were making headway in peaceful solutions that might have ultimately led to freedom, safety and dignity for everyone in the region.

If you can’t call litteral fascists what they are there is a serious fascist problem going on.

I admit that at some point in Januari someone stated Musk was going to face serious consequences for what he did and I replied that he wasn’t unless there was an assassin willing to shoot through a toddler. I didn’t say we need to find such a person, or someone should shoot Musk or anything like that. Just implied that he wasn’t going to face any kind of consequences of any legal nature. I’d barely count that as “glorifying violence” You can see much worse statements on Reddit every day.

I feel you man, got permabanned as well. Apparently you can not say mean things about Musk, Trump and Israel there, sooner or later it’s going to be glorifying violence, and after that they sic a report bot on you or something and you get banned for multiple breaches of the rules, which are entirely ficticious (the breaches, not the rules). Afaik fascists got me banned so they’ve got one less voice calling out their bullshit.

Aside from hurting Trans people, these things hurt women both those afab or not, and given the numbers of each group they end up hurting way, way, way more cisgender women. So every opportunity, every interview with Rowling, every comment on a tweet to her should be “What happened that made you hate women this much?”.

I mean it’s sad that she can’t love the trans, but if that was just a prrsonal dislike, ok everyone has barely rational likes and dislikes, can’t be helped.
