If you’ve played the Momodora games it feels like those. And if you haven’t, I also recommend them.

Camelot

They made the Shining Force and Golden Sun games, both of which I loved, but these days they have been relegated to making the Mario Golf and Tennis games. Which are still pretty good quality, but I miss them making rpgs.

I agree, they are just going to hit the wall again way too fast. If the limit is 256 or 2^8, they should increase it to 65536 or 2^16. Now that’s a limit that feels safer to leave at for many year to come.

It’s been running since 2002 and still going. And while the early arc are pretty rough in both art style and writing quality, it gets progressively better as the author matures.

Another comic I love is Sleepless Domain, a dark magical girl story about a locked down city that comes under monster attack every night.
