That brings up a good point though. Based on just the screenshot here, it seems like the user wont have a choice of what gets uploaded. People keep some pretty raunchy photos on their phone sometimes. Even kids might have some questionable photos. This is just asking for trouble.

I put foil insulation on some of my bigger windows in the summer. Especially southern facing windows (in northern hemisphere). That mixed with tons of fans and the occasional cold towel when needed helps tremendously.

First movie that popped into my head was What Dreams May Come. Robin Williams goes through heaven and hell to try and save his wife’s soul. Great flick with some amazing visuals (especially for the time).

Some of them, maybe. A lot of people fail to realize that joining the armed forces provide a lot of opportunities that wouldn’t be afforded to most of the kids joining. People growing up in poor families without an “out” can join and have higher education paid for and job training when they leave. Im not sticking up for any of the boot lickers out there, but I have to believe that the majority of our armed forces are good, normal people.

Sen. Walz posted on Bluesky for people to not go to protests and there were 400 comments of mostly people saying they were going anyways. Was nice to see.

My hunch says that the good people who get into politics, end up staying more local to help their communities directly. The ones who aspire to raise the ranks are the ones you don’t want leading to begin with.

Omg you just reminded me of something. In my elementary school, they banned slap bracelets. Not because they could cut you or any “normal” reason like all the other schools, but because they were “gang paraphernalia”. Yep. If you wore a slap bracelet in my elementary school, you would get detention cus only gang members wore slap bracelets.

Believe me, its everywhere not just Florida. Florida just has a law that makes arrest records and charges public info so the crazies here end up in the news.

A few weeks after my mom passed, I was reading a book winding down for the night. I set the book down in the middle of a very large coffee table and went to bed. Maybe 20 mins after laying down I heard a loud bang in the living room. I shot outta bed and grabbed a bat and went to investigate. In the living room, on the floor about 5 feet from the table, was the book I was reading. There were no animals or other people in the house and all the doors and windows were locked. This was a heavy hardcover book, so I don’t think wind or something like that picked it up and threw it. Im skeptical by nature but I still can’t come up with an explanation for that one.
