For your printer question, you should be able to boot off of a USB and test that there, I think.

Some Linux USB images don’t have everything installed (so the iso isn’t super large), but hopefully they should have the printer stuff installed.

I’m not sure if lineage has this option, but on my Pixel 8, at least, there’s an option in system -> gestures called One-handed mode. If you use gesture navigation, it lets you swipe down on the navigation bar to either drag the top of the screen into reach or open the notification drawer. You can also map it to the accessibility button (and put it in the navigation bar) if you use the 3-button navigation.

I’m sure you’re content with your solution, but I just wanted to throw this out here in case you wanted to try something new. ^.

My laptop has a control key there. I know on some larger desktop keyboards there’s the application key, but I’ve not seen one on many keyboards from the last 10 years

The only times I’ve ever run into stuff not working were:

1. The GrapheneOS installer bc it uses web USB
2. Sites that decide Firefox isn’t good enough (glares at Pearson), though I just use a user agent switcher and suddenly the site works

I think it’s supposed to be use after free, but it isn’t clear because none of the others use that layout

For those who don’t know: “use after free” is a programming term that means you tried to use something that was stored in a certain place in memory after that thing was already freed (removed from that space in the memory). As a result, you get unexpected behavior. This can be exploited to allow an attacker to get a program to run anything they want.
