I take my dog for a walk in my neighborhood and walk by no less than 10 different camera setups, and those are the ones I actually notice. Paranoia has led us down the road to a post-privacy society.
Well, that’s an opinion.
My brother, my brother, and me- a fake advice show. Pardon My Take- national sports podcast. The Ringer F1 Show- ins and outs of Formula 1 Motorsport.
This is one of the silliest things about video games. There is so much quality content available, but gamers love to complain about the only game they play. They could just play something else, but then they wouldn’t feel morally superior, or something? It’s very silly. I play GT7 frequently and some of the complaints from the community are just ridiculous.
A few years ago I wanted to take some classes at a community college, and one of their requirements is to take an assessment test to see where you’re at with everything. I told myself there’s no way I wanted to take any remedial math classes, so I used Khan Academy to refresh my skills, and I actually learned some new techniques. It’s great!
I’ve noticed that anyone who has gotten one newly installed can’t stop looking at it for every small thing. It’s like built-in paranoia. Not to mention that every time I take a walk in my neighborhood I’m now on bunch of different people’s cameras without even knowing it.
The eagles are my wife’s favorite team and it was a fun watch for us. Ass. Whoopin.
I’m already subbed. I’ve been trying to be more active about commenting
I genuinely miss the F1 and CFB communities for the commentary, but I’m glad I left reddit when they killed 3rd party apps. It’s nice to have a media feed that isn’t cluttered with ads.
There’s quite a few jobs that aren’t union eligible, and trust me when I say I understand how they operate. The first trump admin made it easier to fire federal workers, and believe it or not, there are federal workers that do get fired for doing a bad job. I’m “making an educated guess” that some of those people facing disciplinary actions took the option to resign because I’m telling you what I’m personally seeing.
Im making an educated guess that there’s a decent amount of those 40k employees that were actually facing disciplinary actions or termination and are using it as a way to possibly avoid it.
It’s the closest thing to Apollo or Narwhal for Reddit, but for Lemmy.
The problem is that it just makes more financial sense to just not insure the area. The property itself is wildly expensive and then the owners are sure to lawyer up if they don’t get exactly what they want. Makes more sense to just not issue policies.
This has been going on for quite some time, and will just continue in the background. I always had suspicions about all the positive comments on advertisements. This just confirms that they’re faking engagement numbers.
Have you ever seen the show New Girl? I enjoyed it because the characters have real moments while the show is overall a bit silly. The romantic leads start out as friends and it builds from there.
My friend, I understand how manufacturing works. I was just looking to see who might be a better choice to support with a purchase.
It’s a similar situation with power tools. There’s about 4 large Chinese manufacturers that make almost everything, despite what the logo on the side says. I did some research last time I made a purchase and it was disappointing.
Marnie would enjoy that.
Better hope you paid your fire suppression subscription!
