I quit Reddit years ago and moved on to the Fediverse. I am deleting my Discord account by the end of this week while moving on to Stoat & Fluxer. Social media is not of any interest to me. When ever a platform becomes unbearable for me to use, I leave and do not look back.

I was kind of stuck on a mountain road in the middle of nowhere and it started raining cats and dogs. The weather and the road conditions made it unsafe for me to continue on foot. I held my thumb out to catch a lift and the first car passing by picked me up. It was a lovely young family with their two children in their van. They asked me where I wanted to go and I told them ‘just down the mountain back to proper roads’, but they insisted to drive me to where I actually needed to go, which was a detour of at least half an hour for them. Great people. :)

I hitchhiked through Ireland about eleven years ago. It’s not that easy to catch a lift in some parts, but I met a lot of lovely people during this little adventure.

It’s a draw. Awesome animals, but would not recommend them as pets.

Stoat are experiencing problems due to the large increase in numbers, marking them as spam. Until this is fixed, just contact their official support e-mail and they’ll get you set up manually.

Having lived in Ireland and moved to Germany, it sucks hell and I’m happy here now.

I’m queer and once had a date with a black woman from the States while living in Dublin, Ireland. She asked me if I could be her local tourist guide. Sure thing!

Walked her all across the shitty overpriced city centre. At some point she asked me:

“Am I the only black person around here?”

Eventually decided to ditch the CC and take a taxi to my local area.

Waltzed into my regular pub holding hands, cuddeling.

The entire place filled with white cis locals went dead silent like in a bad cliche movie.

“Harry, two pints of the black stuff, will ye?”

Peeps realised that at least I was a local and continued minding their own business.

Jeez…

Bingo, that’s the one. I was lucky enough to see the band live twice in their home town Paris. Each time I left the venue speechless. :)
