I mean… i like money, eating, sleeping in a house… but i already have a job. Sometimes job applicants can’t be so choosey. And job applicants currently don’t have leverage. Not saying this is a GOOD thing, not at all. Its just cold truths.
I can guarantee they don’t hire a person to look over the applicants who don’t agree.

So a standard cable needs to be chipped to show its rating to the device, its not that the device can pull what it wants or can get, but the cable itself tells it what it can supply. Extension cables can’t do that, because it doesn’t know what it’s plugged into, and that would be if they even bothered to put a chip in. They instead piggy back off the chip for the main cable. The problem comes when you you have a 240 watt cable hooked up to a cheap 120 watt cable, with the device being told it can push 240, and starts to super heat the extension cable

I may be mistaken, but there was talk years ago about regulating lead bullets. They were to switch to steel ones and it caused a whole story about ammunition becoming more expensive and started a run on lead bullets. If true, wile there would be this collected leads ammo, steel would be more prolific. But there could be some other contaminate in shooting, or some other reason. But i fear that this is more of a problem of the human condition then any outside factor

I would argue that the bottom would be dirtier, not because of kids reflex to be contrarian, but because human nature pushes people to prioritize themselves even at the cost of society. They may not wash THEIR hands, but they are not going to touch other dirty peoples handle.

Actually you are describing how it would not be different at all than these other wars. An insurgency in the us would be particularly hard to pick out. There would be no outward appearance between “us” or “them” we are a very diverse nation after all. Also, in these wars neighbors were turning each other in left and right. It was nearly impossible to determine if it was legitimate, or a personal squabble, or some random in order to get brownie points with the us. People are no different over here.
Besides, i will not entertain the idea that fighting against tyranny is wrong because it would be hard.
I don’t think a Revolution in two month’s is a good idea. Again at this stage, militias such as the Black Panthers would be much more effective.

I generally have you in high regard here on Lemmy. We have had discussions in the past and i made a concerted effort to not attack you. I have been civil. So i will have to ask you to look past my difficulties in spelling, and my constant battle against auto correct. I have military training, but they are not necessary to effectively organize, or train in fire arms.
Weight lifting is slightly less efficient due to friction and heat generated by pully system, and the vast amount of weight and space needed may limit available storage possibility and scalability. But its simple, and safer.
