Day one it’ll get used for Ivanka’s dad too.
So… she stayed in the US?

I get annoyed when websites say something like, ´Using a password of this strength will take a a hacker one million years to brute force.´
No, it’ll take a million years to try every combination and permutation of allowed characters. Chances are your password will be tried much sooner than that.
Those people were already voting for him. No one is saying, ‘Oh no, they just found a criminal guilty of a crime! That’s not the American way!’
Well, a few billionaires and their SCOTUS lackeys might, but we’ll see.
Why? There aren’t too many undecided voters who will suddenly decide, ‘Hey, he’s definitely a criminal, so I might just give him my vote.’
And anyone who doesn’t think he’s guilty was already going to vote for him anyway.
I’m not sure I completely agree with the number-line-only approach, but I’m definitely sympathetic to it. It reinforces the idea that fractions are numbers like any other numbers, and not pieces of pizza.
‘It looks like you’re writing a letter. Would you like a tentacle with that?’
Gotta say, every time I go out and look at the moon I can’t help but wonder what would happen if it somehow exploded. Then I find myself wondering why I’m not in an asteroid-mining ship and end up questioning all my life choices.
Technically, the light side of the moon is the one that is facing the sun. You know, where the light is.
It’s all the turning around. It made her cross-eyed.
A school I used to work at had a folder with student passwords for various services at the front of the computer lab. If a student forgot their password for a service, they just went and looked in the folder. Maybe they’d even get their mates’ passwords for them while they were at it!
I did try to get the policy changed, and offered to teach staff and students how to use a password manager, but apparently remembering a single password was far too complicated, and it would make it much harder if you needed to log in to someone else’s account.
