I knew right away, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some people didn’t get the reference. Not everyone is as chronically online and/or aware of political discourse as you or I may be.

Probably, yeah. I made new accounts often but my oldest would probably have been 2010. But I’ve given up once I found lemmy aside from occasionally going back to help people come over when I know reddit has further agitated its existing base.
You can block properly flaired bots in your user settings.
They’re working in the background, but who knows when we’ll get something.

I have a decently locked down browser and adblocker. The real page loads faster for me, takes no archive resources, and other have pointed out other benefits of preserving the canonical link as well.
