It’s very hard to live in the system without somehow taking part. I work in marketing adjacent industries. My job is fully bullshit. But I love my team, I love problem solving, and I love working with research data. So I’m definitely part of the problem, but where I live there’s not much else my skills work for. Australia and Canada are most uninhabited because there’s a lot of uninhabitable land. I do agree that a lot of land use isn’t efficient, but there is also generally a reason people don’t live in central Australia.
