TN also almost split like VA in the civil war. They were the last to secede (doing so to protest Lincoln calling for state militia members to quell the rebellion). East TN (Knoxville region) was unionist whereas West TN (Memphis region) was rebellious. TN also supplied the most fighters to the union of any secessionist state.

What does it mean to be the “most liberal college” in florida? Is this in the actual college administration? As my understanding and experince indicates that colligate student bodies trend liberally to begin with, and I’ve seen nothing to indicate that would change even in the hellhole that is florida. (Yeah rich coming from Tennessee, I know, but I’m genuinely curious)

plugging [email protected]. I know that college football probably isn’t the most popular activity for those of us in the fedi, but honestly we’ve got a decent community going, even if a little small.

I don’t know this the case for whichever poll this is based on, but disapproval and approval aren’t necessarily complementary.
