It’ll be interesting to see if there’s an increase in slop or poisoned data to deliberately throw this tool off. Could be a fun experiment.

I would recommend taking it at a slow, steady, sustainable pace. It’s really satisfying to make huge, sweeping changes, but the things that usually make the biggest difference are the little habits and moments during the day. Incremental progress is the name of the game.
It helps me to pick a point of tension in my life and just spend some time working on that particular thing. For example, I hate when dishes build up, so I spent a whole week just focused on washing them right away. Once that feels like a sustainable routine that I can do somewhat mindlessly, I move on to another little thing.

I mean… an “if” statement is technically AI, so investors can see the buzz word and all Google has to code is “if most engaged moment, then play ad” lol

I think it’s a uniquely good topic to have in both places. I first learned about Linux on reddit in Chrome on a Windows machine. It really helped lower my barrier to entry to chat with people on a platform that was accessible to my skill level at that time. But now I’m really glad there are nice foss places to talk about it as well.

I have an irrational fear of this acronym. I think I’m worried I might accidentally recurse forever, and that will become the only thing I do for the rest of my existence.

“Will you join wheat thins in the fight against lime disease?”

Lots of people talking about monitoring health, I just look because I’m curious lol
I’m not entirely sure what people actually use it for, but I do regularly chuckle when I remember my (very manly man) father in law asking for help setting up his Pinterest account.
In mormonism if you don’t do their special ceremonies and have multiple wives, you lose your dick for eternity. I learned that in Sunday school when I was 12 lol.

I’m not sure popular is the biggest goal right now. It would definitely be nice for federated platforms to gain a bigger user base, but while the tools are growing, it’s really inspiring just to think that people are willing to invest the (low or no profit) time and energy into making the internet a nicer place.
That’s kind of the idea. I miss the originality of old systems, but it seems like a lot of developers are prioritizing consistency and learnability for the sake of accessibility.

It depends a lot on the person, but it always does me good to do something tactile after working all day on a computer. Cooking, baking, sketching, woodworking, Legos, hiking, that kind of thing. I’ve noticed it really helps me ground and be mindful.

More than this it’s just a good way to build regular hand washing into a routine. You already use a restroom a few times a day at fairly regular intervals, so you only have a few hours worth of microbes on your hands at a time.
“We make more money from cars. We half assed the walking instructions. Good luck and fuck you.”

I was mormon. Thankfully my parents paid to traffic me, so I could afford to go to college and cut them off relatively soon after I got home.
Yes, but not for you
