Interesting, Im starting to think it might just be the hardware. It was sitting unused for a year or two. I’m gonna see if I can find a windows PC to plug it into just to see if it is indeed the hardware. I already tried it on every port and on my other PC running bazzite but had the same thing happen.

I tried every USB port, they all detect when the dongle is plugged in but solaar just displays a blank window. I even tried it on my other Linux PC and it had the exact same thing happen . I also had a second dongle so I plugged it in to time rule that the dongle was broken.

I honestly don’t know much about terminal, how could I go about doing that? I’m pretty sure this is exactly my problem. I had stumbled on this Reddit thread when looking for a solution. But someone here pointed out that the link lsd_ninja provided was for MAC so I thought I must’ve been on the wrong track. I know I have to copy the file from the GitHub. I just don’t know how to get to the location where it goes.

Not even the unifying receiver seems to show up in solaar. When I plug it in I get a notification saying Logitech unifying receiver has been plugged in on my task bar. I would 100% look in the employee handbook and see exactly what time would be considered late for a disciplinary notice and start coming in at that time exactly. My last job it was 11 minutes after scheduled start time. And I would always tell people that whenever they’d say “you’re late”

I did install it through the package manager. For some reason though my Logitech mouse doesn’t come up on solaar. When I was looking for a reason I found something about the udev and thought that’s what I had to do, I didn’t realize I was reading mac stuff 😅

Dude I clean windows for a living. The amount of people that don’t see me and walk within inches is infuriating. I get that sometimes there’s not much room to walk around and I try to be understanding of that. But the amount of times there’s 5+ feet of empty sidewalk and people can’t be bothered to move 1 foot to the right while they step around me…

I clean windows and the amount of people that see me cleaning a door and proceed to squeeze through the door I’m actively cleaning while there is another door literally next to it drives me nuts. They just see an open door and have to go through it like moths to a flame. I hate how oblivious people are in public.
