Perhaps it’s because I haven’t subscribed to a lot of communities here (Lemmy), but I find Mastodon (and Sharkey by extension due to their federation with Mastodon instances) more active than Lemmy.
I’ve got an account in programming.dev (Lemmy), fosstodon.org (Mastodon) and fedia.social (IceShrimp ≈ Sharkey, loosely). I’ve also got a very inactive Reddit account.

Why do you try to make Linux seem unusable? It’s not “Linux”'s fault proprietary software doesn’t work on it. Would you criticize GNOME, KDE Plasma etc. and any of the gazillion other pieces of software exclusive to Linux for not working on W*ndows to reach a wider audience next?
CachyOS provides optimised Linux kernels out of the box, leading to significant performance gains. I got a friend to install Cachy on his old computer, and his experience is similar too.
