Eh, I’m happy with religion continuing to fade away like it is. Or at least organized religion.

Fundamentalists are all the same no matter the flavor they come in.

Ah, but that’s why US Big Tech is splooshing cash all over President Felon and hoping he saves them from evil communist European consumer protections.

Some Americans believe we’re screwed in Europe. I had a US boss trying to “save me” from the “socialist hellhole” that is Switzerland by trying to convince me to move to the US. Some believe Islam is going to sweep across Europe and turn us all into jihadists.

You have to see this guy’s routine. His life is built around attempting to extend his longevity. He lives like a luxurious lab rat being pocked, prodded, measured and eats/drinks/sleeps/exercises on a ultra-strick program.

It seems miserable.

It’s amazing how these very unregulated tech companies that have been proven time and time again to steal user data and mess up have this blind trust from the public.

Kind of a compromise for smaller countries that want to have a standing army. And some countries offer alternatives like civil service or paying additional taxes instead for those that don’t want to serve in the military.

The US having expensive higher education driving poorer people to join the military to afford it is bleaker honestly.

Michelle Obama tried tackling this and fast-food PR destroyed her with claims she was “fat shaming”.

There’s a huuuuuge lobby to fight in order to solve this and it should be tackled. But again, profits will be put before people’s health and lives.

The obesity problem in the US is so bad, the Army is facing issues finding enough recruits fit for service. There’s even a program to get people back into shape just so they can try to get into the Army.

Yep, they are also being abused with the added “bonus” of helping pit workers against workers instead of all workers against the super-rich.

Great for billionaires. Make workers desperate, scared, docile, and cheap.

We have the means to make our own right here, right now but some of us are too greedy to make it happen.

Just look at the overlap of religious fundamentalists and conspiracy believers.

They got the most crooked and bonkers president elected. Ah yes, the spoiled NYC billionaire is going to save the children from the lizard people. Praise be!

A very vocal and very active minority I guess.

Indie devs have been there forever. Can’t compete on the AAA features? Compensate with interesting art and smart tech.
