Through my Apple Music “New Music” weekly playlist before I canceled my subscription. It does a good job so long as you actively love and dislike tracks.
Now I have a local library that syncs with last.fm for every play and you can discover new music and artists through there.
I’m no longer on it but instagram was actually a great way to discover new artists. Seems that meta will be a significant player in the music industry (major UMG deal) soon as well so who knows what’s coming there.
Hey, thanks… this looks clean/feels really slick.
What’s the reasoning for all of those problems?
Not here on Lemmy where you should be able to run it on a tamagotchi for free.
People bitch on here about everything YouTube. What’s the Reddit component here?
That’s what the title is for. This is a link aggregator.
Use a better front end that summarizes content, like Tesseract.
The community it’s in should tell you why it’s posted.
What about cl_gibcount 1000 in half life.
Right we shit on Reddit and deal with the same weird moderation in the fediverse.
It’s a real issue. It’s amazing they allow it like it is now.
They’re even in my balls.
This isn’t true at all.
Paid for engagement.
Pretty common practice with leaked login info. Also generally they’ll email bomb you after ordering to try to hide the order email. They’ll even try hitting every site imaginable with the same combo. This is why I love “hide my email” with Apple. Different generated emails and passwords for everything with a tap.
Change your macys account to a different email.
I wouldn’t say guys wanting to fuck equals an ugly world.
Can you type out anything without buzzwords?

Wasn’t claiming it knew it. Was just giving input trying to help the poster find the song he’s looking for. It’s not that deep.

No ads/tracking. That’s really it. Any of the other complaints I had on Reddit are here and in most cases even worse.
The API issue was the biggest one for me and what made this all intriguing. Now apps are getting around that. Winston for Reddit is beautifully designed and even guides a user to creating their own API key to add to the app. This API key provides you with a limit of 100 requests a second. Which is more than enough. (You could also do this on modded Apollo’s).
The average user just downloads the Reddit app though.
