    Somewhat relevant useful protip:

If you have to clean a screen and want to visually see the shit you’re cleaning off, put a chartreuse background up on it. Chartreuse is the most vibrant, brightest color the human eye can see, making it the perfect color to contrast seeing anything else on top of it.

WARNING: you will see how nasty your monitor actually is if you do.

I actually find that the best way to see the dirt on my displays, is to place a bright light at the edge of it.

This causes every particle and smudge on the screen to catch the light and cast a shadow across the surface of the glass.

You’d think it wouldn’t work on a transparent material, but no, it lights up every speck of dirt like the way a ray of sunlight reveals the dust that is invisible but always there, floating around mid air.

At least it’s not in your screen forcing you to disassemble the damn thing to get it out.

      Mmmmh, thunderflies.

I just LOVE when my new monitor has 5 dead bugs within half a year. Though, I don’t think I’ve ever found a hair.
