Hope lemmy never adds this, at least a quick credibility check, see if someone doubles down or is capable of changing their mind on new info, a quick profile look tells you a lot about a person and why they say the things they do. Helps to deal with bad faith arguments

Don’t really understand it. Someone is a member of a bird watching group. But they also love to post nude pictures of themselves in a NSFW group. So… only those in the NSFW group can see their posts…BUT the mods of the bird watching group can also still see them.
And don’t you worry, the AI, the advertising partners and anyone who pays for data access can still see all of it anyway.
