Using my framework laptop feels like a never ending struggle sometimes but I really like the idea of modular, repairable laptops so here I am.
I’ve had only positive experiences with mine. Also curious about what issues you ran into.
Yeah, I’ve had one hardware glitch that support sent me a detailed video how to fix by resetting the mainboard within a few hours of writing them, fixed it within 10 minutes. Other than that any issues I’ve had are linux-funkiness, like odd sound profiles on the speakers that I could fix myself, and have been gradually taken care of through updates along the way.
Would love to know, my friend purchased one and it’s still within the return window.
What exactly are you unhappy about? I’m thinking of getting one soon-ish and would love to hear which negative experiences I could expect to bump into.
Bring in some insight on your struggles! You using Arch on it?
Also curious why it’s such a struggle. I want one too so I’d like to know if there are issues with them.
