I just set up a usb boot for mint yesterday and am prepping my pc to switch once I feel confident enough about Linux. I’m starting to gather that will be much sooner knowing the community is here to help out! I can’t wait to get all my services switched to FOSS alternatives.

This is exactly why I cannot fathom how some people are choosing to be apathetic about what’s happening to their neighbors. You see that in your neighborhood and you think you have anything to offer that will satisfy the hunger of capitalists turned fascists? Our lives are nothing more to them than another resource to exploit and bleed dry.

Not a lot of incentives for morality in tech advancement. Users having the right to opt out of being data farmed should be bare minimum so I agree it isn’t much, but it’s better than some
