I don’t understand this perspective, no one had any excitement or interest in Biden and Harris had both of those things in spades, not sure what made the campaign “god awful” by engaging the base and drumming up a ton of excitement and money. Anything you can throw out there about not communicating about policy or whatever has to be applied to Trump who also didn’t do those things, especially when you consider dems get raked over the coals for not speaking plainly enough yet she’s supposed to plainly speak about public policy and foreign policy at a very high level? It seems like she was given a literally impossible task if you consider that campaign to be “god awful” of course she failed at an impossible task. Frankly I believe the election had very serious interference and that’s why she lost, and her behavior post election is unforgivable, just disappearing and leaving the American people she claimed she wanted to lead high and dry, she clearly has no desire to be a leader beyond the title and perks or she would be leading them dems now in a resistance against Trump. She’s a failure for sure, her behavior post election proves she was never cut out to be a leader or she would be leading now but running a “god awful campaign” is just dishonest

As the game Raft is fun, fairly simple, huge, good for playing with friends or kids with out a ton of experience playing games, it’s got a decent story. Spent last summer beating it with my daughter and we both really liked it

Or even taking fewer showers. So many people shower daily with out actually sweating or getting dirty at all, destroying their natural skin barrier. Both taking fewer showers and also moisturizing, inside by drinking water, and outside with lotions or creams is the ticket for most people.

I was told it’s part of my hypervigiliance. I have cystic fibrosis so I already have more nerves that are more strongly connected than other people so my skin is incredibly sensitive and I have tons of physical and medical trauma that makes me hyper aware of my body and skin sensations so I’m always itching and noticing every little thing on my skin. I recently stopped shaving my legs and the feeling of my leg hair moving when I walk is so incredibly distracting and intense it almost tickles. I think trauma can induce excessive skin concern in people I just happen to be on the more extreme end of that spectrum

That’s just people who know how to cook, beginners want to follow recipes to a T and almost always come up with sub par results to someone who knows how to cook because they already incorporate what you’ve mentioned. This is just “make sure people cooking know how to cook” lol

The term “tankie” exists independently and prior to the popularization of the internet

I accidentally subscribed to one and it was filled with tankies acting like they were the true and righteous moral bastions of society while espousing blatantly ableist ideas and pure wishful thinking rewrites of history. I left and blocked that community.

I go from universe to universe collecting all the copies of me, then we get together and decide which one will be the easier to take over, then we take over that universe. Then we either rule as a hive mind or I kill the disloyal versions of me

Considering I was born with a deadly genetic illness that would eliminate me from most universes with out very advanced medicine so this might be a difficult task, unless I guess I’m the only genetically flawed version

I follow you but I also wonder, if no one can afford those drugs to begin with how viable is a plan like this? If the giant margins are ending, people have no income to purchase medicine with, and the US isn’t subsidizing it, how exactly are these meds getting to the public? Suspending sales globally to court poor Americans who can only dream of paying for meds doesn’t seem like an especially bright plan

I’m pretty anti-porn just like I’m very anti-religion but neither of these things can be killed by banning them. The idea that banning porn will somehow prevent people from accessing it when we know even people in NK or places like the Middle East can access it is just crazy, of course Americans will continue to be able to access it, and like you said this will just push production and distribution underground actually exacerbating the issues with the porn industry. I have few actual complaints about the end result of porn, I don’t believe it’s good or healthy but as a product to be consumed it’s only moderately harmful but the production of porn is where the real evils are found. This will lead to those in the porn industry being abused at rates and in ways currently unfathomable or illegal.

Dark City (1998) could definitely fit the bill, it has so many unique ideas for that time in film and you can see there’s of all sorts of future sci-fi movies in it from the matrix to inception, it’s a very visually ugly movie and the acting is subpar but as a premise it’s super interesting. Generally I think remakes are a waste of time and money but I’d love to see this movie with a proper budget and modern technology
