For a while it was “let him cook” which, I think, meant ‘give them a chance, they seem to be on to something’, but now when something goes bad people say it’s “cooked”. My question is, was it a mistake to let them cook? Thank you.
We get it - you have an air fryer - let it go.
Do you wanna heat a tatter tot?
I’d rather heat a tot in good condition.
It’s a cook or get cooked world out there
Let him cook
that means he is completely wrong and what they are doing will fail, but I am not getting Involved in that mess.
Typically it is said after one tried to correct the issue.
Sometimes you have too many cooks…
Maaan, I love the internet.
This was uploaded 11 years ago, and it probably older than that. But today was my first time watching it, and I’m choking on dinner laughing at this sketch. (Today’s lucky 1 in 10000*)
Mhm
Does that 1 in 10000 apply internationally? Or just in the US. Even though I’m not in the US, I like that statistic of the 1 in 10,000
Originally aired in October 2014 as part of an incredible series of weird infomercials.
“let him cook” which, I think, meant ‘give them a chance
I think “let him cook” generally means “let them do whatever they’re planning and make their own mistakes”.
“it’s cooked” means someone has made some mistakes and now it’s just a mess, with no undo.
If I say “that’s cold blooded” does that confuse you about the meaning of things that are “cool”?
“Cooked” refers to things that have overheated and thus, broken. “cooking” refers to trying tings out and innovating.
It is absolutely a mistake to let certain people cook
I think “cooked” in the meaning you refer to has actually existed for decades longer than people saying “let him cook”
It’s good to poop but bad to be pooped. English weird
He’s washed is bad, but he’s clean is good
It’s good to cook, but bad to be cooked
The way I see it, let gen z handle a steak but don’t let them anywhere near chicken
Yes
